Jailyn Osborne is an award-winning filmmaker, choreographer, director, dancer, and writer. She co-owns the film and television production company To Be Heard Productions with Gina Hudgens (mother of actress Vanessa Hudgens) and is directing the company’s upcoming feature film Jupiter, set to begin filming in 2026. In addition, she serves as a creative production designer for large-scale, highly scenic live events for Nickelodeon and Paramount, where she imagines and oversees immersive environments that bring beloved IP to life - Most recently Dora the Explorer & SpongeBob Squarepants.
Jailyn is currently in talks with Disney on her original animated series Koala City, set to launch in 2026. The series is designed not only to entertain but to put magnificent good into the world, with a merchandise line of plush toys, clothing, and accessories made from sustainable, organic materials that promote kindness, creativity, and environmental responsibility.
With a lifelong passion for the stage, Jailyn founded and led the nonprofit arts organization 3Peace Studios, Inc. in Orange County, CA, where she spent ten years producing, directing, and choreographing more than 90 full-scale musical and theatrical productions before moving operations to San Diego. She now serves as Vice President and Artistic Director of Point Loma Playhouse in San Diego, where she just finished directing and choreographing Little Shop of Horrors and is currently directing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and producing and choreographing Ruthless.
Jailyn is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), and the Writers Guild of America (WGA). She loves animals, the planet, teaching, supporting youth, and painting, but her favorite days are spent at the beach with her dog Mannix and her husband, Thomas.
Jailyn has degrees in World Dance, Film, and Child Development with a specialization in Psychology and Behaviorism and is currently on track to receive a masters in Sustainability and environmental justice from Purdue in late 2026. Jailyn has over 20 years experience teaching.
