Kim Short – President

Kim has an extensive background in theater and brings her management experience and love for theater to the Point Loma Playhouse as a board member and production manager. Early experiences include community theater productions at the Forest Theater in Carmel, CA and the Starlight Theater in Costa Mesa, CA. Past roles include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast. She is a strong believer in the power of community theater as a source of entertainment for patrons as well as an opportunity for aspiring locals to find and share their creative voice.
